Skills for American Football

I learnt skills in American football.

First I learnt how to throw the ball I have to put your ring finger on the third lase of the football we griped the ball to aim then we faced straight then we did the L shape to aim probably.

Next I learnt how to catch the ball with a triangle shape with your hand.

I enjoyed catching the ball with an triangle shape with my hand. I did well on gripping the ball. I need to improve aimming and throw the ball.

Ki o Rahi stepping, throwing, catching

I learnt about how to throw, catch, and step.

First Mrs White showed us how to catch and throw.

Next we did a game of octopus to do more stepping we weren’t allowed to save people and nobody won the game.

Then we went into a group of three and make a triangle to take turns pasisng and catching and one group won the race.

Lastly Mrs White showed told us to race for the first one to 20 passes in a circle and group 2 won group 1 lost.

I enjoyed passing. I did well on catching. I need to improve on stepping.

Te Reo

We learned about Maori and Pacific islands.

First we were split up into five groups. Whaea Odie took one group while others was looking for a pacific islands on the google search and putting it on the google draw and finding the countrys that was on the Te Reo doc.

When our group was on the mat, Whaea Odie used playing cards and we had to tell her what that number was in maori.

Next Whaea Odie added the cards to one to 20. For example she put 10 and 9. This was added to make tekau ma iwa.

I did well on saying the questions on the mat with Whaea Odie. I need to improve on learning more maori words. I enjoyed finding the names on the maori dictionary to put on the google map.

Procedural Text

Procedural text tell people what to do something in steps.

The structure of a procedural text is remembered by using TEMPs.

T stands for title. Title is a book that an owner has written down in some kind of story.

E stands for end result. End result is a reader of telling information with people.

M stands for materials. Materials is a list of things while your doing your job.

P and S stands for picture and steps are list of steps thats in order with any picture.

Soccer skills

We learned about soccer skills. We learned about three soccer skills there are dribble, use the inside side of your foot, and stopping the ball.

First we played a warm up round the steps are to go any where on the field in yor rectangle and play sc

 

Dawn Parade

I’ve been learning about dawn parades.

First I got into partners of two, and then me and my partner read the book two times.

Next me and my partner got a whiteborad and a pen and read the book one more time and wrote down some keywords.

Lastley we wrote the what, where, when, who, why, and how, then we wrote the beggining, middle, and end.

I enjoyed where, when, and why. I did well on where, who, and how. I need to improve on how and what.

Basic facts

We learnt about basic facts.

First we learned about basic facts,

Next we did Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using the single-digit numbers, 0 – 9. These basic facts are often referred to in. Current literature as “basic number.

Lastly we had to finnish our last two things.

T-Ball Skills

We revised and learned differnt T ball skills.

First we ran a relay race to run from base to base to the home base.

Next Coach Cameron taught us how to bat. We played Tball to practise batting.

Lastly we switched teams to play against.

I enjoyed it. I did well kinda. I to improve batting.

 

 

 

Fractions

This week I learned about fractions. I  learnt about the fractions thirds, and fifths.

First I folded my papers into thirds and fifths.

Next I went to take photos of me holding some of those papers I cut out.

Lastly I wrote the fractions on each picture I took.

I enjoyed fractions. I did well on cutting the paper into thirds and fifths. I need to improve on cutting it equaly.

 

Complex sentence

We learnt about complex sentence.

First we revised our time tenses, there are three; present, past, and future. We also revised the states which are simple, continuous, and perfect.

Next we learnt what a complex sentences is. A complex sentences has two subjects, two verbs, and a aaawwubbis. A complex sentence has a independent clause and dependent clause. A dependent clause has a conjunction stuck to the front of  it. The aaawwubbis are as, although, after, while, when, unless, because, before, if, and since.

Lastly we had to make a two-cell comic strip with  a photo. We made a complex sentence and took pictures matching the complex sentences.

I enjoyed taking the photos. I did well on writing complex sentences. I need to improve on spelling.
